High Rank Zoh Shia is really starting to ruin my enjoyment of the game

I have attempted this quest maybe 15 times. all have failed. no matter what I do I get to phase 3 and then game just decides to go "lmao have 3 faints in a row, ♥♥♥♥♥"

Edit: Ok so I feel like I do need to add some clarification here to my little rant

!.) Finally beat ZS on attempt 16, finally gotta a good group together for it. I love you hunting horn users

2.) I have zero problem with the fight until phase 3 where ZS starts shooting off fire balls like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ machine gun and following it with a nearly undodgable horizontal lighting strike that, in my opinion, does a bit too much damage even with lightning res

don't forget that you can call your seikret while you're laid out unless you're dazed, comes in super handy when he starts blasting.

Same, plus going from rank 75-100 in about 15 monster fights means rank is meaningless.

Its 25 tempered arkvelds if you opt that route but any normall player wont just grind artian gear cause you dont have access to level 3 decos.

Zoh Shia HR is on par with difficulty when it comes to damage recieved anyway so I doubt you have max spheres =)

The fireballs get really bad sometimes with the right amount of bad luck but other than that it's not so bad.

Beat him solo with dual blades first try with no carts and that's not even my most comfortable weapon

You have trouble with HR Zoh Shia? I have some bad news for you, wait until they release arch tempered monsters and elder dragons (especially Kirin since OP hate lightning).

My brother using GS carted 9 times due to his spam of downward flames LOL, and he beat Fatalis solo with SnS in World.
He, too, was using Gore, but not because he was chasing meta players but because, bruh, its Gore's set, he cool looking.
Told me that after changing from Gore4pc to Ark's, his HP wasn't left at a sliver of HP.

I played defensively for my first hunt of Zoh and took 21min, 1 cart because I was busy studying him and figuring out which moves I can use the Focus attack on and reel him back.

What's even CRAZIER is that my brother admitted that: he forgot to upgrade his armor.
ALL of them were still Lvl1 armors LOL

He can't snipe you with fireballs when you are standing under his crotch/tailbone.
Also the Horizontal lightning, just run and dive directly away from (or towards?) him. Horizontal is exactly that, only out to the sides.
The "Fire Res" charm is also all you really need to massively reduce any threat of the fire.

For the fireball spam what I've found works best is the either:
Sheath and start running in a straight line once he goes for the last two big ones
For IG jump and air dodge to get out of the big ones
Any shield weapon you can perfect guard the entire barrage, bit tricky. If you want to hold a guard you might need a little help from skills or just eat 1 hit lol.

Small fireballs you can generally walk in a straight line or just be close to Zoh Shia, big ones tail is safe, just be careful with the floor breath attack combo potential.

To be fair: you do not need fire resist at all.

I played against here with Gore Set too for my stamina build. Perfect dodge with Bow and Dual Blades and not getting hit: you can use a better armour set than focusing on anti fire.

For newbies I always recommend Suja Waist and Leap 3 talisman.
