High Rank Zoh Shia is really starting to ruin my enjoyment of the game

I have attempted this quest maybe 15 times. all have failed. no matter what I do I get to phase 3 and then game just decides to go "lmao have 3 faints in a row, ♥♥♥♥♥"

Edit: Ok so I feel like I do need to add some clarification here to my little rant

!.) Finally beat ZS on attempt 16, finally gotta a good group together for it. I love you hunting horn users

2.) I have zero problem with the fight until phase 3 where ZS starts shooting off fire balls like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ machine gun and following it with a nearly undodgable horizontal lighting strike that, in my opinion, does a bit too much damage even with lightning res

If only there was something in game that would increase your resistance to fire damage. And/or make you immune to fire blight.

The lightning deals dragon damage, considering the color. And since the "meta" build is weak to both fire and dragon, it hurts more than usual.

I only wear 2 piece of gore magala beta and have a fire res of -6 but I run recovery speed and recovery up with a mender mantle. that lightning attack in phase 3 just sucks ass and doesn't give a good frame to dodge when you are knocked down. I have no problems with the rest of the fight, I just want to the horizontal lightning attack to be less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I know I've done this plenty of times while fighting him, and the issue I have is usually his 2nd Phase downward flames with the welks and his charged shots after the 3 minis in Phase 3

Unless your hunter decides to get up for some reason.

Dumb argument because OPs... complaint, survives well into end-game in every MH. What is the excuse then when Hunters had the same complaint when going up against Alatreon, Safi'Jiva, MR Kulve Taroth, Fatalis? That's well and deep into MR and we still had the same complaints.

Yes the Fight is hard, buts its not nearly near "unfair".

Especally Phase 3. That is the Easiest phase ... all he does is Spamm Fire attacks yes ... maybe stack 3 Fire RES Gems ?????

i have 30-45 Fire Res depending on my gear + Food Buff ...

with 150 HP + 30 Fire Res you can Facetank every single Fire attack without even getting to 50% hp lol ...

and if you STILL Struggle with that, stack Divine Protection on top ?

i manages to facetank 6 fireballs i a row without blocking ... (i was eating cornflakes while he shot me lol, didnt bother me at all)

Funfact: with 150 HP + 40+ Fire Res you can even Facetank the Phase 1 Fire NUKE, you drop to exactly 10 HP ;P

People need to understand, that Elemental Resistance in this game is there for a reason ...

for the first time I felt like playing Monster Hunter. Took me 17min to beat him solo first try. Died once. Felt like fighting a punshing bag. It´s still not that hard.

Meta players with Gore sets not realizing that its weak against Zoh's primary weapom: flames.

My brother using GS carted 9 times due to his spam of downward flames LOL, and he beat Fatalis solo with SnS in World.
He, too, was using Gore, but not because he was chasing meta players but because, bruh, its Gore's set, he cool looking.
Told me that after changing from Gore4pc to Ark's, his HP wasn't left at a sliver of HP.

I played defensively for my first hunt of Zoh and took 21min, 1 cart because I was busy studying him and figuring out which moves I can use the Focus attack on and reel him back.
