Edit: Tested Wide range, amazing to help fellow hunters. Tested it with Dual Blades, not ideal, probably better with SnS, 'cause of the need to sheathe often !
I've seen plenty of people die stupid deaths to Zoh Shia and every time I thought "I bet he had a PURRFECT build and gear"... Which is fine, you can and will fail, but you also wasted mine and 2 other people's time - 15-20 minutes down the drain with nothing to show for it.... So hopefully these help these lost souls out, to get better at the game. Because, despite what everyone thinks, the game is not easy (at least endgame) and it will only get harder from now on. Now is the time to get better, later you'd get tossed around like a sack of potatoes by the future bosses and quit because "I already beat the game, whatever" lol.
It's the "hidden" knowledge that veteran players take for granted that carries you through the fights, but to a new player, it's overwhelming and they feel lost not knowing where to even start to improve. Guides are important. Also help keeping the overall attitude in the game positive as people help each other. That's one of the reasons I loved World so much. It's a friendly and fun place to be in. Hopefully Wilds can be the same.
You can, but then you don't need a guide. Or perhaps some of those tips can be helpful for solo, too. Like having 20+ resist preventing blights - I didn't know that initially, too. HUGE gamechanger.
and then there's THIS GUY who didn't get the memo of the irony i'm attempting to employ here...
SnS has a slide and Charged Blade has one too. This is from the weapons that I use. Don't remember any of the others.
As fo Mizu, I am about to go ingame and get clapped repeatedly by him haha. He is a new monster for me since he was not in World. I fought him once for the quest solo and nearly died. He is SLIPPERY, very much so. We'll see how multiplayer hunts with him go, especially tempered. Perhaps a guide will be needed for that to haha. "Easy game", yea right.

B - Yeah, SnS feels great in this fight. I tried lance but it is way to slow for it, you are forced to guard all the time.
I loved lance in World, but in Wilds I feel too slow with it, perhaps I've outgrown it. And yea SnS is the swiss army knife it's always been - if you are having trouble with your chosen weapon, switching to SnS to learn the fight always helps as you have EVERYTHING at your disposal, no restrictions - block, evade, air launches, fast attack, slow attacks, even slides, I love it.
I played Insect Glaive in World, it was my favourite weapon and the second most used. But something feels off in Wilds, so I dropped it. So I don't know how it fairs against Zoh Shia.
I always chuckle when I see someone masterfully roflcopter the boss and annoy him to no end like a true insect would do lol. It's also beautiful to look at. And for Hunting Horn mains I only have admiration - I can't stand that weapon, nothing in it clicks with me, it's like "just NO", but when I see a HH in the party, I feel safer and know we will win. Wish there was more of them around, seems like it's pretty rare.
