Still having issues a month after launch
Buckle up this is a long one. When I started this game, I had little to no issues at all. One patch later, crash after crash after crash. Sometimes it would work fine for a while and then sometimes I'm crashing every 10-20 minutes. Here is a list of the things I've tried:

Reinstall the game
Lower settings
Turning off frame generation
Turning off hardware accelerated gpu scheduling
Cleared shader cache
Opening the game as admin

I'm at my wits end, I don't even know what to try anymore. All of my drivers, gpu and cpu are up to date. Any tips would be appreciated.

Sounds like a system issue. I haven't had any crashes yet. Almost 300 hours in. I'd suggest checking your firmware for you motherboard, if you have a newer Intel chip maybe check those drivers also. Crashes can come from so many things. Make sure to check all your bases.

When I was playing the game and my laptop was in igpu mode the game would crash. Make sure your gpu is properly turned on!

For example, go look in device manager and go to display settings and make sure your GPU is enabled. Or sometimes go on the Nvidia gpu checker thing in the windows pop up menu on the taskbar for programs and if it's off there should be a big button that says something along the lines of "Enable this GPU"

If you are on Nvidia driver's and not using a 5000 series GPU, downgrade to the driver's from December.

I’ll look into that stuff, but I checked my event viewer and when wilds crashes I get a c0000005 exception code which I’ve been told is an “access violation” what does that mean?

It is a typical Windows Home issue. Check your background apps and share a DxDiag report for advice.

What’re the important parts of that report? It’s too long to paste here.

Everything. Use a filehoster of your choice to share like pastebin.com, Dropbox, MEGA, Google Drive or file.io

i have been putting this in my launch options for the game, and it has helped with the crashing. only once in the past week since i added it in, versus several times a day. let me know if it works for you.
