The direct storage is crashing your game. Try to delete this, verify gamefiles to redownload. Also just in case delete every cache file and recompile shaders.

Yeah i did a fresh reinstall this morning after the update so the dstoragecore.dll is brand new and i cleared the shaders. Is there a way to make it recompile shaders without the game actually launching?

No. But you can try to downgrade the direct storage dll's, some users with windows have problems with the latest one.
Cool ty. I'll grab a couple of the older versions from NuGet and try those out. I had been doing that with the latest version but I didn't even think of trying an older version. I'll let ya know how it goes.

hi can you please help as well
my game cant even launch as it keep crashing
Well i found out you can't go below dstoragecore.dll version 1.2.0 or it starts breaking other dll's. Otherwise same error
so I tried moving the game to a different nvme drive to see if that might be it and now i get a different error.

after checking dxdiag the only thing on my machine that's out of date is the bios by 3 versions. idk if that would cause this but, we're gonna find out. I'm going to apply the bios and let ya'll know.
updated bios still no joy. I think i'm just gonna have to be happy with what time i got and move on.
my game doesn't even crash, it logs me out of my pc.
