It was very good at release. It has been improved twice since then.
Slighty better,
Almost less 1GB of VRAM.
genuine question, why are you on here shilling for capcom 24/7 lmao, Im certain they arent paying you to do it
It loves trolling, indeed
It will run the same after the G rank is completed too, they already said they optimized it as much as they could, take it with crapcom for forcing them to use that engine.
MH is the biggest moneymaking game for campom, i don't understand why they don't make an engine for the game so it can do what they need.
On the other hand trying to understand greedy fart sniffing corpos is an exercise in futility.
because it got capcoms ♥♥♥♥ deep in its throat
Doesn't run like ass for me at all. But I also don't have a potato.
i7-13700k
32GB DDR5 RAM
RTX 4070 12GB Super OC Gaming Edition
Kingston Fury 2TB NVMe drive
Was this expensive? Along with the rest of the rig, yes. Will I have to replace this anytime in the near future? No. Can I run things like MHWilds, Stalker 2, Helldivers 2 and others at 1440p at a minimum of 60FPS? Easily. Wilds runs above 100, Stalker is more demanding and tends to dip under 90 in certain situations. Helldivers 2? Flawless.
I dunno why people expect 8-12 year old tech to be able to perform like newer tech. That's not how optimization works. In fact, optimization can only be done to a certain degree. It isn't a friggin cure-all for bad performance on old hardware. My previous rig was WAY out of date:
i7-4690k
16GB DDR3 RAM
RTX 2060 8GB Super ROG STRIX edition
This setup? This could barely run Helldivers 2, and that was with SIGNIFICANTLY lowering everything. Was I mad about it not being able to be played at omgsooperhighgwaffixmaxFPS4k? No. Because that's asinine. I cannot expect a 4th generation rig with minor upgrades to be able to do what a 14th generation-capable rig with minor compromises can do. It's not a proper comparison. One CLEARLY far outpaces the other. In a BIG way.
I'm talking of course about frames that can actually accept input. If you turn motion smoothing on you can double the number in the corner but you actually get worse latency.
Yes. It does. I have been playing since release. But whatever. Believe what you will. I'm not about to argue with someone who cannot understand what is being said.
My CPU is comparable and my GPU is better. I was nowhere near able to lock 100 fps without motion smoothing.
You do realize that your GPU doesn't automatically make everything better, right? The game is heavily CPU dependent. All you've done if your GPU is superior is bottleneck it.
And yet, I still see 100 fps.
What is your CPU, and what does it top out at?
Mine runs at 5.4 GHz. It runs hot, but it is pretty damn strong considering it's a 13th generation chip.
It's still not much better. It eats a bit less of your VRAM now, but all in all the overall FPS is the same and stuttering is also still present.
