It just feels Like no one in the Development Team is Communicating with each other.
„Lets add rewards for the top 10.000 Arena Players…
Damn the leaderboards gonna be Full of cheaters…
Hmm lets just punish everyone if they end up being Matched with a random cheater and lets make playing with randoms completely unappealing…
Maybe add an Arena Solo Mode so you can still Compete for the reward if you Play Solo?
Nahh we don’t Need that we have the NPC hunters who do Like 1/4 of the damage that a real Player would do…“
Like what the hell?
I just checked and now I know what happened. I had the game set to multiplayer with real players only—so NPCs were basically disabled. I also usually play without a Palico or solo because it's faster. Turns out I had to talk to Alma and change the settings for that option to even show up in the menu. If you ask me, that’s on them—the UI is pretty mediocre overall.
Scaled down
Half the players on the board unrealistic times.
Other than that you want to be low on time.
So you cant get hit plus you have to know two weapon move sets because sharpening is wasting time.
Timer starts moment you zone in, dozens of pages are 10 second kills.
It takes at least 6 seconds to get into the actual arena, which leaves you 4 seconds to kill monster in one hit ><
Uh huh Neo.
