What you just said doesn't address my issues with the fight even in the slightest. He doesn't have "patterns". He chooses a move from his list of moves at random just like all of the fights in the game aside from a couple "combos" bosses have.
Yeah it's awful, couple this trash fight with the crashing issues and the fact they didn't remove the DRM making our framerates suffer.... yeah this is a bad update. Game was literally better yesterday.
this fight is only marginally harder than low rank.
it's pretty fun. i carted once.
So you only did the fight once? Makes sense that you hold that opinion. I've killed him 5 times now, it's a teeeerible fight. But losing in the last 10% because he spammed fireball 8 times is obnoxious. There was 0 skill expression to be had in that moment, the game decided I was dead and there was no way out of it. I had my weapon out when he 360'd to my direction, no time to sheath and superman dive, so I blocked, he kept fireballing me until my stamina was gone and I was dead.
The mini novas aren't telegraphed enough and come out too fast, they are also one shots.
Neither of those things should be in the game right now.
No, i said i carted once. not that i killed it once.
i killed it 4 times.
the fireballs were never even an issue, so dunno. i haven't experienced that. i Died because i stood in the frontal AoE and then a followup flame.
Crybabys with "too easy and too fast fights" now have the wall they can hit against.
I enjoy it quite well so far. Also to support players, i am joining SOS-requests with my healer and support build. Managed to save many from death by now. So yeah, this fight is what a boss-fight has to feel like and has to be prepared for :-)
Nah, the fight is annoying and a health sponge. They needed to choose one, not both.
There's nothing actually "hard" about the fight. Every cart is either too many attacks stringed together or a one shot. Very little times I see someone die is due to a skill issue.
