So those of us who purchased the Deluxe Edition are just SOL?
I purchased the base edition of this game on day one with a preorder, once I had the funds I bought the now delisted Deluxe Upgrade pack with the assumption that when they came out Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 and Cosmetic DLC Pack 2 would be available for purchase on their own upon release.

But now that they are here, I have found out that not only has the Deluxe Edition pass been removed, if you own that pack or just bought the Deluxe edition, you have to purchase the Deluxe pass AGAIN if you want to get the Premium Deluxe Edition bonuses and DLC access. I already paid the $25 for those DLC, why am I now being punished for having purchased that with having to spend that money again. No option to buy the Cosmetic Packs outside of the Cosmetic Pass which includes what many of us already purchased!

A, I and many others just SOL when it comes to the DLC Pass? Are out only options to fork over an extra $25 for content we already own with no sign of a discount for doing so? Because since the original upgrade pack is now delisted, steam just thinks all of the original DLC was purchased individually, so it wouldn't count towards any discount even if it was offered, which as of now it isnt.

Like, am I missing something? I get wanting more money from the customers, but I just cannot justify buying a DLC I already own a second time, I already paid for it, why am I now being punished because they decided to move in a different direction for the DLC releases?

Im sure they wont, but I've asked to refund the Deluxe Upgrade pass since that is no longer an item on offer, and if they do so Im just going to immediately buy the new version of the pass, but there is a snowballs chance in heck that they are going to approve so, so idk what I can even do at this point.

Your explaination makes no sense.

First: that is not how Steam works.

Second: what do you actually want?

Premium deluxe pass got the cosmetic parks 1 and 2. Just buy the cosmetic pack 1 if you really want it?

Yep.

And the Deluxe only has only deluxe pack. That is how it is shown on the store page.

I would ask that you link me to where I can buy Cosmetic Pack 1 by itself, because as far as I can see, that isnt an option in the store.

I want to be able to purchase the new DLC pack without having to buy content I already own as well.

You can. So what is the issue?

I ask again, show me where I can purchase Cosmetic DLC pack 1. Because all that is on offer in the store is the Cosmetic DLC Pass, which gives access to Cosmetic DLC pack 1, Cosmetic DLC pack 2, and the now delisted Deluxe Upgrade Pack.

If I purchase the Cosmetic DLC Pass, I will have to repurchase all of the content in the Deluxe Upgrade Pack which already cost me $25, and I feel it is unfair to demand I purchase those items a second time just to get access to the new DLC.

The items I would have to purchase a second time btw:
Monster Hunter Wilds - Hunter Layered Armor Set: Feudal Soldier,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Hunter Layered Armor: Fencer's Eyepatch,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Hunter Layered Armor: Oni Horns Wig,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Seikret Decoration: Soldier's Caparison,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Seikret Decoration: General's Caparison,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Felyne Layered Armor Set: Felyne Ashigaru,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Pendant: Avian Wind Chime,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Hairstyle: Hero's Topknot,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Hairstyle: Refined Warrior,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Makeup/Face Paint: Hunter's Kumadori,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Makeup/Face Paint: Special Bloom,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Sticker Set: Avis Unit,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Sticker Set: Monsters of the Windward Plains,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Gesture: Battle Cry,
Monster Hunter Wilds - Gesture: Uchiko

All of which were in the Deluxe Edition Upgrade Pack which cost $25 before it was removed.

Now it looks to make sense. Okay. I get it. You wish to to get a discount for owning already the Deluxe Edition when buying the cosmetic DLC pass. Correct?

Yes. If I purchase the Cosmetic Pass, there is no discount for owning either the Deluxe Edition or the Deluxe Upgrade Pack, meaning that for me or anyone who purchased either of those items, would have to buy it all a second time. Because as far as the steam page shows, there was no reason to believe the cosmetic packs would be locked behind a singular $50 pass with no discount for owning a third of the included content already.

Heard from capcom support and got told that they apparently cannot help with any issues regarding Wilds and you must ask through the support desk for Wilds specifically about it. Even though this is a purchase option issue, but guess thats what I should expect. Would ask through Wilds support area, but thats only for gameplay issues and less so issues with purchases so I guess we are still just SOL.
