Ignore the incoming mob claiming you are to blame for Capcom's failures.
Thanks ^^"
Capcom do not have to account for people using mods that alter their save file, when you start up a game after a major update and the save files no longer match because of mods that have changed them this happens, not capcoms fault at all, you mod you make copys of your save file.
As a matter of course.
It does.
Save file loss happens on PS5 and they have no mods. Weak argument. Easily refuted.
It does, but a fair amount of people turn it off because people tell them it is bad. Alternatively, it could of been an unsynced cloud save that corrupted.
I'm unsure what mods could have done this honestly, as many QoL ones do not interact with the save file. There's one that changed a unused value to allow client side layered weapons (which I tinkered with), and after the update my save survived.
So unless this person did something very destructive with their save file, this is just a rare occurring bug that can corrupt the save or system related.
Most likely a game bug as I feel every monster hunter World and onward always had this damn issue. World's case, it was a BIG deal loll
It does but when an altered save file ( modded one ) causes problems it is still floating around in there but will not load it because it no longer matches up, this and all the problems you are about to see flying around on the forum about capcoms fault this capcoms fault that are all problems of modding, thing is when people lose their save data because they altered it it's always the game dev's fault LOL.
I do not think it was a mod, provided they did not corrupted their savegame with e.g. Artian weapons editing, or changing values like the other guy who had 221 saved investigation and complained they lost track.
I don't mod the game, it was the basic one with only addon from capcom like the high texture pack. I do only this update and I lose my entire saves.
