Audio Cutting IN/OUT!
Hello!

Anyone else having this irritating bug? It happens every session. Only reboot the game fixes it, but the fix lasts only a minute or so. It's consistently reproduced. I have gone as far as COMPLETELY reinstalling Windows 11, still persists, and ONLY happens in this stupid game.

I have tested multiple other headsets in wire, wireless, and bluetooth. It won't stop happening.

At this point, the only thing I can think of, is that it is due to my laptop from Lenovo? It's only 6 months old; could the sound drivers and firmware just be ♥♥♥♥♥♥?

Hopefully someone has had the issue before and knows how to solve it...

One of my friends discovered that their particular headset would just randomly switch to a different audio source, so you can look into that. Could be that something Windows is doing is causing your speakers/headset to not associate the game as the source of audio.

Other reports on the forum indicate updating all drivers, both audio and graphical, helps, though that's not really helpful if you are already going so far as to reinstall your OS.
Yes, I have tried updating and even trying older drivers for everything. I haven't heard about that other thing. Do you have more details about it? I'd love to try it, because that sounds entirely plausible as the issue here.
Just troubleshooting but does the audio output in game match the windows output?

Yes. I even tried with other headsets. :(

Just got off the phone with them; after starting the game and experiencing the lack of audio, ALT+TAB back to your desktop and open up your audio setting via your control bar (should be lower right area of your screen). Verify that the output device is as expected, not muted, etc, and then get back into the game to see if your audio is now playing.

Unfortunately, this was not it. They were all set correctly and volume was not muted. I'm gonna start pulling my hair out. lol
