Since release I have never had a single connection error. Did you do the usual troubleshooting?
Rise is actually more stable
Stability problems are because of cross-play. I blame that one on the people who kept asking for it.
If public, id recommend private or squad lobbies.
If the latter two, then idk anymore.
I would assume private/squad seems to be more stable after I went into private/squad lobby with my brothers them
(I havn't played Handhelds for DS/Switch... but thats Nintendo being Nintendo with that)
If your having issues in your House,
Make sure your both Wired, Me and my brother get issues for various game when one of us is on Wifi in are home. There is a list of things to do to help with co-op in your home.
Alot of silly things that can screw that.
Not saying it isn't Capcom fault... just saying to look up some guides for playing in house.
It seems to have fixed itself. It was a server hiccup that some of us was feeling others did not.
Rise was so easy, group up and played. Did not have to go through so many menus or hoops. Can say it is a switch port all you want, but the quality of the game was so much better.
Tuesday is the day most people do server maintenance.
If you mean connectivity, sure Rise was better.
If you mean finding groups Rise was worse, you just had to pray someone was doing the monster you wanted or wait 20 years for it to find someone. Though most likely it would just say it couldn't find anyone and cancel the quest search which was frustrating beyond belief.
Anyways, OP, you should consider private/squad lobbies, as my brother we did have this issue prior to using these two methods
