This is the worse online system ever.
Half of the time connection error. Why the heck did they just not do what Rise did? Like that was fine. Rise did not have this trouble with grouping.

Heck even trying to get my wife through the story sitting right across from me. Connection error.

These developers I swear.

Since release I have never had a single connection error. Did you do the usual troubleshooting?

Stability problems are because of cross-play. I blame that one on the people who kept asking for it.

Question: are you using public or private?
If public, id recommend private or squad lobbies.
If the latter two, then idk anymore.

I would assume private/squad seems to be more stable after I went into private/squad lobby with my brothers them

this is nintendo switch game ported over to pc that's why. do what I am going to do and never buy a capcom product again they are garbage and none of the devs even play videogames themselves. this game makes you make a squad, link party, environmental link its all a bunch of bs
IDK, I'm playing Rise of The Ronin where the multiplayer is 1% of the game, so you can't even play with your friends. Every 10 or so hours you do a co op mission that you will finish in 10 minutes. So count your lucky stars, at least this system is intended to have you do hunts mostly start to finish.

Last Time I had issues with MH Online was back on Adhoc Party and Xkink Kai..
(I havn't played Handhelds for DS/Switch... but thats Nintendo being Nintendo with that)

If your having issues in your House,
Make sure your both Wired, Me and my brother get issues for various game when one of us is on Wifi in are home. There is a list of things to do to help with co-op in your home.
Alot of silly things that can screw that.

Not saying it isn't Capcom fault... just saying to look up some guides for playing in house.

For people acting like it was a issue with me. Laughable at best since it was poorly design system. And even people saying Rise had a worse muti player. (lol.) im just going to say this.

It seems to have fixed itself. It was a server hiccup that some of us was feeling others did not.

Rise was so easy, group up and played. Did not have to go through so many menus or hoops. Can say it is a switch port all you want, but the quality of the game was so much better.

I mean, OP LITERALLY stated about playing with their wife, nothing about finding people.

Anyways, OP, you should consider private/squad lobbies, as my brother we did have this issue prior to using these two methods
