No issue in liking "old-school" and "modern".
Monster Hunter Rise did a lot of things -currently- still better. And if it was not for MHR + MH:W we would not have all the QoL improvements in MHW.
Capcom will never make a classic style mh game again.
Market just isnt there, its a small (but very vocal) minority wanting this and with how massive the games are now you just cant chase a small market like that.
1-2 years Nintendo console exclusive, because something has to sell this closed eco-system.
