I will ask, just how often are you getting hit and how many hits does it take to get you to low health? Because depending on the answer you might just need to get used to the monster.
Also get antivirus level 3 to easily get rid of frenzy. You are basically screwed if your frenzy status gets red because you lose HP over time and take more damage.
You could also just go with evade window 5 if you are a LS or DB user.
Maybe Earth damage = Ice/Water?
Lance
Gore Magala does 0 elemental damage, all its damage is pure raw.
---
Other than that, slot Divine Blessing x3.
And I remember to block.
But what about the damage?
Just socket a Shield Up can be a 1 slot.
Also positioning, sliding, an never underestimate running.
Earplugs, while he is roaring you could be drinking a potion, getting better position, or finishing a combo.
Also you can cheese this fight if you want too.
There is so much environmental hazards around that will knock off significant amount of his health, you just have to lure him into position and then lasso it. Not as hard as it sounds!
You could also prepare the battlefield with traps, easy to do with a Ghilli Suit.
Dont forget you can fire your hand slinger with weapon out.
So you could always flash Gore to make an opening.
There is free slinger ammo all over the place some that stuff can actually interrupt his attack moves if only 3 flash rounds is not enough might want to actually pick that stuff up.
If I'm doing bow, keep some distance, bait out attacks, and build up wounds. Longsword, stay close and break parts. Greatsword I parry everything. Assuming you haven't reached HR Arkveld, try Jin Dahaad armor- it's what I did High Rank with mostly- and slot defense decorations with agitator as Gore likes to be angry. For weapons, use fire element or paralysis if you're going with elemental or status; para is just ridiculously strong in Wilds and will probably get nerfed soon though. Lala Barina LS 7 with crit status and affinity up should inflict paralysis about every 15-20 hits, which is insanely frequent. If you want to use a bow, Rathian with pierce coating is my go-to personally as fire is generally good as well. Greatsword, just get the biggest bonker. Other weapons, I can't really give advice on, not familiar with how they play in this game.
