Essential on future patches
Option to leave palico at camp ( The option we have right now works only for missions, the palico still follows you on expeditions and ''arena'' missions )

Option to tell alma to stay at camp, or at least make it so she talk way less, im tired of hearing her comments about monster dropping parts or whatever

And option to leave seikeret at camp as , or maybe even a bit more extreme, like being able to turn seikret use OFF on the session -->[( if you're the host )]<--

These would all be optional settings,
so if you like the dumb cat that heals you only when you already drank a potion you can keep him, if you like the babysitter that follows you around you can keep her too, and if you dont care about exploration and you're playing in a hurry = you can still mount your bird.

if you disagree you're just dumb, im not saying they need to remove these things, im saying they should all be optional, i want to be able to choose.

Yeah, I think people should just be nice to people and that it's good to be nice to people, it's entry level pre-school teaching for a reason, no idea why people find to acceptable to be obnoxious for no good reason over a video game of all things.

Regardless, I don't actually mind Alma being on hunts, it's been 200 hours and I still enjoy her presence, it's more so that I would really like to capture the feeling of being a lone hunter sometimes in a world that's pretty hostile towards you, as well as engaging with the tracking system that we currently have (which is super-ceded by the way point system which is just so strange, no idea why they removed scoutfly skills lol)

My biggest issue is that neither the cat nor Alma have enough voice lines, they'll talk about certain monsters sometimes, but they never have enough to say to justify them being on 24/7. Really hope they give her more stuff to do at some point.

yess i agree
maybe instead of giving the option to remove her from the party, they should just make her more interactive -or- more useful, maybe changing a few things on how she acts would already improve a lot the situation ~ for example = during missions ( sometimes ) she runs towards the monster and ends up breaking immersion for the player

( she wears no armor, and has no way to fight back cuz clearly she doesnt use any weapon, so why would she stay nearby at a range the monster can clearly tear her to pieces.. u kno? )
I think we should just have both! No reason to have Alma on every mission afterall, esp since a lot of the side missions show our hunter going out on their own to accept quests! And it's always nice to have options!

Skill issue.
that all sounds like a you only thing dude... you do realize that capcom wont and should not change anything for just one person do you?

Also what you want is Freedom Unite, go back to it pls, if you cant handle the fact that MH is now a living world, wich you seem to denie completly given you want to take quiet the chunk of life out of your hunts, then the new ones are not for you.

Also there might be mods on nexus, so prior to you WANTING stuff that nearly NO ONE ELSE WANTS, you should look onto mods. If their to complicated for you then thats your problem alone.

See, I agreed with you in the first half, but when you end up adding so much spite against people preemptively, all it does is make me want to not have these things out of a shared spite.

I understand that it's annoying to you, and I'd also like these things to have options (I would love it if I could turn off the waypoints), but this is a community filled with actual human beings and you should treat them with that respect, esp when no one in the thread even had a chance to be mean to you lol

thats why i preemptively stated

---------->'' THEY SHOULD BE OPTIONAL '' <-------

Even tho im a veteran master rank 999 on previous games on the franchise, i should be forced to hear alma following me around commenting on every single breath i take, forced to have a cat helping me even tho i clearly DONT NEED IT?
all because beginners need those things?
smh

YESS thank god monster hunter is changing and becoming more and more immersive and alive and full of detail and consistency yes bla bla bla thats amazing
great job capcom im not salty about that

i just dont like the ''ret#rd treatment'' im getting, full of help, tutorials, and being forced to feel like im a toddler

and dont even get me started with mods, i dont want to have to download a bunch of extra stuff just so the game is bearable

yes ok, u have a heart full of love and you respect every single organism that exists on planet earth, great karma i should learn with you yea u right, whateva mane

im glad u agree with me that these things should be optional tho

i mean- what is capcom thinking?
master-rank players will probably end up hating alma cuz they will reach a momment they already know how most stuff in the game works, and she will still treat them like newborn babies, by following them around and giving tips :steambored:

Dunno, alma is pretty tame compared to the last handler which always had the urge to tell you what the next main mission is when you entered the hub, that might be why many people did like the serious handler more for the short time we had her.

I think it would suffice if you can tell you companions to just keep a minimum distance so they dont snuggle up to you when you are fishing or looking for some collectibles.

I just want Alma to shut up.

+1 to alma shutting up, this seriously needs to be a setting

she is a nag, I don't like nags
Yes, please. All I want is just her to stay away when I'm taking photo on outside. It is so nuisance
