Luring the monsters in open areas can help, the Focus Mode too, when you get used to it !
Edit: Yeah Gore Magala is the worst, but mostly because he spawns only in Icy Cliffs (not sure about the name in English), which doesn't have a lot of open arenas. Plus he's huge and fast, so it gets pretty chaotic.
if i get hit on a bad angle, that just means I havent fought this monster 500 times lmao.
my leeway for this is putting my horizontal speed at 15 (controller) and hope my "blindness" can catch the attack. I'm not going to say "git gud", since it is indeed a capcom problem, but all I can tell us both is to cope.
It happens just with rathian afair maybe the camera is supreme bugged for every other monster ?
That would be hilarious actually.
But ya GM is pretty horrible camera wise. Just try to figure out where its behind is and roll there whenever you hear it squeak.
Thats when everything near the face tends to explode.
So you first have to optimize the game for PC itself including this annoying focus camera which automatically focuses on the monster.
What remains is the fight against big enemies. Whoever came up with the idea of letting us fight against them in small areas ... really please a blow to the neck.
If the monster is too close, it becomes transparent. Yeah WTF I fight a gore magala which is already on a drug and then it becomes transparent and I can't see the animations anymore, I get almost 1-hit, it's like fighting an invisible enemy, nice one.
Because only rare and elusive weirdos play Monster Hunter games with M&K.
