*Dies murdered in cold blood because the killer didn't want to read*
Try that with devs who support mods by default.
On the one hand, I welcome the idea very much.
On the other hand it seems almost meaningless at some point, considering you are supposed to get good quests from Capcom with meaningful challenges and rewards.
In older installments I would want such a custom quest editor for sure. With Monster Hunter Wilds we kinda have something like that in form of field surveys and the investigations we can create. It would just need some additional tweaking.
I am not sure by the end of the day, though it is a good idea. Especially with multi stage scenarios as quests.
More than errors/scripts, would be something created by the devs, a tool that gives a certain amount of possibilities, so essentially you have certain bounds, it's not that you program it from scratch.
The idea it's turning that into something official. Also, we are talking about having someone that checks the quests to see if those are coherent when it comes to drops/monsters to slay, I don't think it's something really hard to do xD
It's something I really don't understand, I mean, I can understand that they don't like their games being altered, but there has to be a point where you say "Hey, let them cook", look Skyrim, they literally got AN ENTIRE EXPANSION made by a fan xD
