Game crashes randomly
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried all solutions through the capcom troubleshooting guide. I've followed all solutions through various reddit discussions. There are frankly too many to sort through, but here is my problem;

Randomly and without warning my game crashes with the capcom crash report tool. Sometimes I can play for hours with no problems and save and quit the game normally when I'm done playing, but most often the game will crash anywhere between ten minutes of play and a couple hours in. It's exhausting. I just want to play. My PC specs are;

CPU: Ryzen 7 7700
GPU: GTX 3060 8 GB
Memory: 32 GB RAM
Storage: 2 separate 2TB SSDs
PSU: 600 Watt power supply

Here is my dxdiag report:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qwzJr7jaxC77DNccyObM0Ed_QqdkJc1Z/view?usp=sharing

I've checked and rechecked all my drivers for each and every component that has them. I've watched my CPU temp and even bought a liquid cooler for my CPU in hopes of keeping the temp down to fix this problem.
Each Storage device is on it's own power cable. No daisy chaining between them.
I've ran a test on my RAM to ensure it is good with no problems.
I've verified game files and uninstalled and re-installed the game several times.
I've deleted shader caches several times.
I've done everything on capcom's troubleshooting list.

Is there more I can do? Also, how can I even tell WHY the game crashes. I can't figure out what is causing the crashing. Is this something on capcom's end?

Please help. I'm desperate to play this game. Especially after pre-ordering the premium delux edition. Which I'll never do again...

Hm... did you share your DxDiag report before?

What model is your D: drive device?

Restart your PC and then use the tips #2 + #4 + #7 + #16 + #17 here
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3436896664
Regarding #2, put the virtual memory only on C:

then proceed to use these commands in terminal as administrator

sfc /scannow
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /AnalyzeComponentStore
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup
chkdsk /f /r C: D:

Make sure to enter each line separately and always as administrator.

If the issue persists, set your graphics card to debug mode and check if that helps

Good luck! :MHRISE_OK:

Share a DxDiag report if you want advice
Okay. I just generated one. Does it matter if it's 20 minutes after the crash? Or is it just a general check of my whole system?

General check plus it might have information about your crash. Additionall you can also upload the crash report, but the DxDiag report is more important. You can use pastebin.com or any other filehoster like file.io Dropbox, MEGA, Google Drive etc. to share.
Okay. I edited my original post with a google drive link to the dxdiag report

I don't know what my D: drive is. I only have a C: and E: SSDs

I see in the dxdiag where it has a D: drive for me... But I don't see it anywhere in my system.

Ah, right - I was meant to ask what model your E: drive is. My bad.

Your D: drive is the CD-ROM drive.
oooh okay.

It's either a Seagate Barracuda 120 SSD ZA2000CM10003
or
WD Blue SA510 2.5 2TB

I read some people have good experiences by moving their game from their main NVMe to their SSD. Might be worth a test, especially since moving games using the Steam Library feature is fairly easy without the need to redownload.

Have your crashes returned after using the tips from before?
Still going through the command prompt steps. Both of my drives are SSDs and through the uninstall, re-installing I've done a few times, I've tried both drives. Never made any difference.

Since your second storage drive is E: make sure to use

chkdsk /f /r C: E:

or if you have done it for C: already then use

chkdsk /f /r E:

But the C: check is more important.
Great! Thanks for all your help. It's currently checking E: it will check C: on my pc restart.

Keep in mind that it will take a while - so you can plan ahead to do something else while waiting for the check and repair to finish.

The good think about that Windows tool is, that it attempts to repair stuff on the fly, so you will not notice any changes unless it is a serious hardware issue.

I am very hopeful that with the tips the crashes should be significantly reduced or vanish entirely. And if not, we can still check for other things - especially regarding the debug mode mentioned before.
Great! Thank you so much! I'll certainly keep this thread posted on my results.
