Let's be real here, many "people that came from older monster hunters" always be disappointed with something in any MH game.
When Wold/Iceborne came out, many people were disappointed and complained about how it was different from the older MH titles.
When Rise/Sunbreak came out, many people were disappointed and complained about how it was different from the older MH titles. And praised World to the the better game and came back to play World.
NOW Wilds came out, well guess what...
SO AGAIN, sure some people are unhappy and unsatisfactory about Wilds.
But to be fair, some people's satisfaction is coming from being unhappy about something.
(*This is not about the complaints about performance issues, as those are completely fair. While the others might not)
Concerning the complaints, they happen at the release of every monster hunter ever, and people always pretend like it's the first time. People were losing their minds when world came out on pc, and said they'd never buy a capcom game again, and look where we are, Wilds is still peaking further than World ever has.
The irony in all of this is that World is somehow a golden standard now.
Monster hunter fans are playing Wilds, or have went back to world or rise to wait for Master Rank expansion for wilds, they aren't complaining on the forums and linking youtube videos pretending they know better.
I have played since MHFU, and I saw world's, rise's and wilds' launches closely.
I have only played a little bit before refunding. But i have been watching videos and seems like the end-game is not as good as it could be.
This makes sense commercially, majority of PC players are satisfied, and half of the playerbase is on console. If they make content, they cater to 100% of their playerbase, if they "optimize", whatever that means to people here, they only cater to a fraction that we can't quantify of half their playerbase.
Capcom has the numbers to make these decisions, we don't. If the game was truly unplayable, they'd fix it. :P
I am satisfied with pc performance myself. I found a comfy, solid 60 fps at 1440p native.
It is absolutly worth it, its a really good game and the performance is not amazing but also not nearly as bad as this forum will make you think it is. Bunch of 1050ti mf'ers crying.
Mixed reviews @63% with the majority of positive reviews - if we ignore the nonsensical one liner "It's good!" ones - are complaining about performance. Definitely not a minority or "fraction" of the player base at all, you gaslighter.
You aren't solid 60fps either, your own videos proved that.
There's also a bunch of 5090 enjoyers asking capcom to justify their gpu purchase and blaming capcom for nvidia's poor offering. ;p
Iceborn also has mixed reviews.
World also had mixed reviews on launch.
And yes, I run at 60 fps. :P
Your definition of 60 fps too. :P

But you're gonna move the goalpost, or lie about me again.
Didn't you guys try to brigade me with reports ? Told me the mods would deal with me, I'm still waiting on that.
Highlight the post, bud. Post history is right there.
I'm not gonna scour through the 200 hate posts you and kiririn put down on this board everyday, you knock yourself out bud, I worked enough to meet your unreasonable standards, and the goalposts always move.
Props to you people for actually giving me the incentive to work on making the game run better, I can share that knowledge now and help people with it, bring like, positivity a bit.
