Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds

Statistiken ansehen:
The players curve is falling at an alarming rate
edit : Wilds is currently almost even BELOW WORLD despite starting with 5x its player count https://imgur.com/a/Lr0oUoy

blue is MHWorld, Green is MHWilds. You can see the effect of the lack of proper endgame grind system, greatly reduced need of farming and complete lack of challenge.

People beat gore, and since they already have 15 gems per monsters and almost every decos, they just have nothing to do anymore.

I love this game but I really feel like MH devs were doing better when they were not listening so much to the community.

"Deco grind annoying" > OK you're gonna get 30 decos per hunt so you have every decos in less than 150 hours
"Farming the same monster over and over for a gem is annoying" > OK we're deleting the farm and giving you guaranteed gems
"Endgame monsters are too difficult we're going to review bomb the game" > ok we're removing challenge and story walls so new players can speedrun the story (feels like defender gear btw)
-"blah blah blah hitstop is not good" > OK we'll remove it (as a reminder, until the second beta the devs designed the ENTIRE game without hitstop)

100 hours in a month... that's average for sure. But the ones complaining are those that put in 100 in two weeks. Now that's some dedication. When the TU1 drop, those people will no doubt put in three days worth of effort, come to the forum complain, then wait three more months for the next Title Update.

dude, wilds lacks content. like, a LOT of content. There where far more to do in Worlds AT LAUNCH even if we ignore the Large Monster discrepancy. The game literally rushes you to end game, Artisian grind isn't worth doing, Decos are INCREDIBLY plentiful that you can get the decos for any build with ease. There's no "surprise" monster to hunt and there's no new temper to hunt.

So, the TU1 is gonna have 2 monsters, one of which is a monster that was already in the game and should have been available to fight AT LAUNCH at HR and the other is a Returning monster From rise and MHGU and isn't even 8 star difficulty. And the first AT monster, isn't coming till ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MID/LATE APRIL. it's gonna take people less then 3 hours to finish TU1

This isn't an issue. People need to learn to not live within one game.

I will return for updates, but I won't play this game to death in it's infancy.
the old spirit energy of having your time respected because there is nothing to hide and everything is at launch has been dead since World, you can only cope with the dripfeed model which is here to stay

I genuinely got more time out of launch wilds than launch world, but that doesn’t matter when it took way longer to just get to dalamadur + ukanlos in base 4

Monster Hunter has been rereleasing with G rank since before world. The west didn't get base 4, we started with 4 Ultimate

which is why I defined my endpoint to be end of high rank hub only and not gog/140

I know how the classics content distribution worked with respect to the west, was there when people were begging for GU
When the expansion drops and it does insane numbers I guess we'll do this all again

"the endgame has a problem of being over after you do it"

i doubt, as long as the expansion is iceborne level or greater, the doom threads will just be trolls at that point

here's the problem, TU1 should NOT be fixing the main issues in this game. The game is an unfinished, buggy mess that lacks content. TU1 is fixing issues that SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THERE TO BEGIN WITH! not to mention the game RUSHES you through the game so there's literally no surplus.
This is not an online game. There are no ingame monetisation or anything and, while the online play is a big part of the game, its not really the focus. As such, its player numbers mean absolutely nothing. People have hundreds of hours in the game already, so its only natural that numbers will drop of. Thats how games like this work. THey'll spike again once some big updates drop.

24 hour and all time peaks for four games.
Assassin's Creed Shadows: 29,129 / 64,627
Avowed: 1,482 / 19,161
Monster Hunter World: 34,182 / 329,333
Monster Hunter Wilds: 213,030 / 1,179,869
Damn, I could of swore Avowed had many millions players according to their official PR statements, same as Shadows which is claiming 3 million 'players'. Where have all those players gone.

Ok, let me explain something. This game WANTS YOU to rush to the end, it LIMITS and holds your hand even in HR. There's no substance and trying to be "oh but this isn't an online game" doesn't change the fact that MH has usually had enough content (and i don't just mean big monster numbers) to do. This is a poor argument that actually doesn't address the issues MHWilds has.

there was roughly the same amount to do in base world as base rise and base wilds, stop using nostalgia goggles. I had my rainbow pigment, which requires ALL base game quests completed, in less than 50 hours. The only difference, was the deco rng being so garbage in world.
