Game stable now or still bad?
So I was looking forward to play this game, but on the open beta I had polygons n ♥♥♥♥, fps drops.
Is it better now or are there still issues?

Better than the open beta, similar to the benchmark. In the game's busiest areas and fights, it's uncommon to have stable native performance without capping your framerate to 30 FPS due to extreme CPU bottlenecking. Even the strongest parts on the market struggle to keep native 60 FPS stable when there are multiple small and large monsters in the area. Frame generation can mask it to some extent, but it gets visibly uglier if you're sensitive to it and can degrade the responsiveness of your inputs (the game already has some pretty widespread buffering problems right now, too).

If you're willing to deviate from the normal experience, there are mods that can alleviate this; disabling some costly effects like volumetric fog helped me out personally, and I saw a pretty aggressive mod that outright stops things like small monsters or non-target large monsters from spawning, but these obviously cramp the presentation.

just cap ur fps to like 30 and use lossless scaling to make it look smooth

will have much more artifacts but way better performance

You will need like 6GB VRAM (or 8GB I don't remember). Anyway make sure your VRAM is above your VRAM usage.

It depends on your computer. I have 4070ti and have to run frame gen to stay in the 60-90fps range. I do run everything (almost) maxed out though and yes the frame range is that dramatic. It really comes down to what area you’re in.

So ultimately, it’s better than beta was for sure but unless you drop settings appropriately, you’ll run into issues.

If you run the benchmark. The performance will be pretty close. Tweak the graphics on that until you get something consistent and decide if it’s worth it for you. That’s really the only way to tell for sure.
Really have no issues. You can turn most settings to medium and the game looks almost identical, turn off meme upscaling and you're set.

I didn't experience this polygon thing since the release.

It happens to people who go over their VRAM limit.

Game runs WAY better if you use AMD FSR and frame generation. I don't have a 40 series card and I can only use amd's frame generation with my 3060 Ti. It's not perfect but at least I can play with an average 80 fps without the game looking like utter sh*t.

Last night I got disconnected from a Gore Magala hunt, got it low solo, then the entire client crashed. There is still instability.
