Any performance mods recommended?

I'm trying to get the benchmark stable enough and at a satisfactory level amount of fps before I consider buying the game - so is there any performance mods for MHW that would help?
Any suggestions welcome.

Alongside this there are two Lua Scripts that can be auto-ran through REFramework to disable wind simulations and toggle other post processing effects. I gained significant performance improvements with those.

I do not recall if you can apply the DirectStorage Upgrade for the Benchmark (tip#20) but it is a popular modification used by a big number of players.

Run the game at 1080p. the lossvsgain is not worth it. they even admitted the game was optmized for 1080

yea that was the strange thing when i ran the benchmark. i ran at lower resolution in order to squeeze every last drop of performance - yet for some reason, got either same or lower fps...

In theory, yes. But it works better under Windows 11. Using Windows 11 Pro is strongly recommended for gaming.

To use DirectStorage you also need a supported NVMe, mainboard and GPU
