Ballistics skill
Does anyone know if the ballistics skill affect BOTH the maximum and minimum distance in which ammos/arrows does max damage?

Fairly certain that it only affects the maximum distance, allowing you to hit at longer ranges, but I could be wrong. Using it on bowguns easily makes it so spread can still hit at somewhat mid range, but doesn't make it so you have to back up further before it becomes chip damage at point blank, AFAIK.

Angbata and Phemeto explain how Ballistic was change in WILDS, search em up on YT.

I saw angbata's video before posting my question. Tried searching Phemeto's but can't find one that clearly explains balistic. I asked bc i saw some ppl implying that it increases the minimal critical distance as well. Since the tradeoff to increasing the max crit distance is an increase in minimum crit distance then it's not worth it cuz monsters like to get up and personal in your face. But if angbata's video is correct it actually DECREASES the minimum crit distance while also INCREASING the maximum crit distance. Just wanted to confirm that with chat here.
