To be fair, Lagiacrus was originally underwater, was redesigned to be exclusively on ground AND is coming back. They'd have to do something about Hellfire blight for sure, but they'd probably just do something like roll x3, like fire/blast blights.
yeah this is something to think about too, magnamalo's lore is a bit... silly, when considering the more grounded approach wilds is taking in comparison to rise. that said, i don't think magnamalo's lore is too bad considering the guardians and zoh shia are pretty out there themselves. if it helps, a lot of magnamalo's lore about "using souls as fuel" and being a "vengeful demon" is more or less superstition from kamura and not really fact. i do kind of appreciate the use of in-universe myth to give magnamalo more presence though.
Meh, it's really not that big of a deal, I'm just one of the mh fans whose really really drawn to the ecology of the series lol
