Build Advice for Tempered Gore Magala
trying to solo it, but I'm kind of in the weeds trying to figure out his status effects and blights. Not sure what decorations and armor are best.

You are overthinking it. Improve the armour with max. upgrades and go in with Lance.
Get raw defence, evade extender/window antivirus and coalescence. Fight him in wounded hollow if you can it's way better than the cliffs.

Personally I think at the cliffs it is better. Easier since it does not have much room to fight.

his frenzy is an ailment, there are skills to use this to your advantage or clear it. i wont tell you thats theres certain decorations or anything you should use.

a general tip instead examine your jewel economy. get as many slots as high as you can get them. jin dahad is a good set before gore. so is some pieces of uth duna.

edit: for my silly mistakes XD

Take time to learn Gore's attack patterns. Its bread and butter is to knock you over to stop you from attacking, so if you focus more on avoiding Gore's attacks you'll have more opportunities to retaliate.

If you get the frenzy virus, attacking while you have it will give you an attack bonus. Its harder to see in this title but above your health bar will be a meter, if it gets too close to being full use a null berry to give yourself more time. If the bar fills all the way you'll get a defense penalty so try to keep an eye on the meter.

I find the tight space hurts more than it helps especially with the camera, but it could just be a matter of personal preference

just think of your dragon element resistance and ailment/blight resist.
None of that is true. He doesn't do any dragon damage and he's weakest to fire.

Use Lance if you like Lance.

lbg + evade distance 3 + if he jumps behind you dodge 2-3 times away from him, try to not fight in narrow spaces

if you do it right, with a bit of luck you never get hit

Below is the list of every defensive decoration/armor that you can use against Gore Magala:
- defense vii (defense +10% +35)
- growth i (defense +5 at 5 mins, +20 at 30 mins)
- fortifying pelt [3] (defense +15% 1st faint, +30% 2nd faint)
- evade window v (increases dodge iframe)
- evade extender iii (increases dodge range) <<<< highly recommended
- divine blessing iii (halves damage at random) <<< best value
- antivirus iii (heals from frenzy faster) <<< to counter gore magala's "blight"
- stun resistance iii (prevents stun)
- recovery speed iii (recovers red hp faster)

I'm not putting decimator, hasten recovery or recovery up in the list because they don't do much if you're having trouble fighting the monster to begin with.

For weapon, use fire if you're going elemental, otherwise go paralysis.

oh, ♥♥♥♥ lol i mistook my last view of the guide was at a tempered arkveld not gore. well except for the dragon portion the rest is true. the frezy thing is a blight ailment and there are decorations and skills that you can use to maximize the effect to your advantage or help clear it and still give you an advantage.

so its not None, just i made a small mistake in declaring his element weakness, and dragon resist in the armor.

You take 3x Divine Blessing and you hit it until it dies.

The age-old lesson of observing the monster and learning its attack patterns. If frenzy is activating on you, you can use antivirus to slow it down and give a buff.

IIRC he doesn't do any element damage, just frenzy. He's weakest to fire.

Sns would probably be the best way to go for the sheer mobility and being able to weave blocks in constantly. If you're not used to lance or the fight, you could end up being stuck in his triple frenzy explosion.

The worst part of fighting Gore is his wings blocking visibility and the rooms being tight. Watch out for climbing/jumping off ledges since they leave you wide open.

Cliffs are just overall horrible for most of the fights.

I remember fighting a tempered arkveld that moved from corridor 10 to corridor 17... Now I have 3 luring pods in my pouch always.
