Apart from the jump ability, charge blade can do all that but better
You dont have the same mobility with CB as SnS. Its true their movesets are very similar but SnS is faster over all.
In terms of speedruns, it's pretty high on the list.
but for more casual players like us
it's a VERY strong weapon in this game.
it's easy to pick up, but is one of the harder one to master, since it has so many moves and combos.
biggest change in this game is the use of perfect guards by using guard slash (actually OP and i expect a nerf).
And sliding slash - gives a lot of i-frames and reposition. feels OP.
you just keep the pressure on the monster at all times and you will probably out DPS most other weapons.
SnS has been the jack of all trades but master of none, and perhaps that's what it's fated to be.
