You can no longer authenticate on new devices
"You can no longer authenticate on new devices" even though it's the same device. I obviously own the game. How do you fix this problem? I got through the tutorial, took a break, and now I'm unable to launch the game with no indication of how to fix it.

you got softbanned for installing the game too many times. need to wait 48hours i think for the ban to be lifted off.
I only installed it once. But I own the game. Why would that limit anything?

do you run linux ? like, outside of your getting a refund argument, I understand that, but you might want to be aware of what caused it.

It's a soft lock, not a ban. You need to wait 24h from last attempt. It's like you are alergic to the truth you people. If you are not sure or don't know, don't spread misinformation.

Technically you do not. You own a license to play the game, not the game itself. Steam does not sell games.

Wait, so it's "From the last attempt?" Meaning if I got locked out a day ago but retried at 23 hours it resets and I have another 24 to wait?

This isn't even anticheat or antipiracy security. It's just irritation to people who bought the thing.
