Damn the "FOMO Mechanics"
I love Monster Hunter Wilds through and through.

But I hate those "FOMO Mechanics" as in limited timequests, limited seasonal events, and alike.

It is not all that bad, but after Monster Hunter Rise - seeing the alternative in form of, you download the Event Quests and keep them forever - it just feels so annoying with Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter Wilds.

Thankfully the Witcher Event Quest and the Final Fantasy XIV Event Quest were not time limited back then in Monster Hunter: World.

But I still wish it would be like in Monster Hunter Rise. You download it once, and keep it forever. Regardless when the server ever shut down.

What do you think? How you feel about time limited event quests?

And are you as excited as I am about the upcoming sakura styled Gathering Hub? :MHRISE_happy:

There's an easy solution to this, wait until they are permanent (which I will do). It happened to World after all so eventually Wilds will follow suit.

They openly confirm in the TU1 update that event quests will return.
this is blatant FOMO exploit it's ♥♥♥♥, they are forcing people to buy the game

should have learnt from Rise but no capcom is a ♥♥♥♥ scummy company

You're just spouting random numbers now which is nonsense. No where in the video does it state 2 years. They will come back, eventually.

You missed out? Too bad. Stop being entitled.

We're being rewarded for being a current, playing player. Good.

Seasonal Events bring back nearly every event in the game for you to enjoy. They happen quite regularly, several times a year. Its not really FOMO the way people expect fomo to be, you wont miss out in perpetuity. Everything comes back.

you don't really have to force yourself to chase after limited events. They come back pretty frequent for new / returning players. Like during the upcoming blossom event, if it's the same as World, all the old event quests will return

1. season event brings every event quest back (which give comsetic rewards)
2. season events are every 2 to 3 month at least
3. always has been like this
4. If you dont like go play other games

I dont care. They are available long enough for me to not just dont care about it at all. I will fight the AT monsters exactly so many times I need for the set. Then never again. Just like in world.
