Alma authorizes you to kill things, she’s essentially the red tape you carry around. Gemma is just meant to be eye candy for those who enjoy a completely impractical blacksmith hairstyle. Honestly no one in their right mind would be working around a hot forge with hair that long and in such a horrible hairstyle.

Im just waiting for the day where her hair gets caught in the sharpening stone and takes off half her face. Maybe then she’ll learn.

It doesn't change the fact that I can feel Alma's breath down my neck whenever I fight a world ending titan! Any sane person who isn't geared like a hunter should stay far away from such creatures. It makes no sense!

Neither of them need to come with us all over the place. Our equipment is good for a few hunts without needing to be replaced or upgraded... and Alma has proven herself an inferior judge when it comes to what to do with monsters. It would be more practical to leave them behind. They're just a liability in the field.

Gemma is the Avis Unit Smith (like Werner is for Olivia's unit)
The Hunter is the Avis Unit's Hunter (like Olivia is for Olivia's unit.)

Totally agreed! I hate the fact that they felt the need to follow me everywhere! It is just unlikely they would be so stupid as to easily throw away their lives without proper combat gear.

i've gone over this in another thread but they're dating and need to be able to see/hear a thing dying nearby to get into the mood, you're basically third-wheeling for them

Yes, one being the handler and the other being the one who takes care of your gear. But at least they are on mounts to stay relatively safe compared to someone else from world. You know, the handler who has no weapons, armor, or mount, yet would run into the fray and force the hunter to go rescue them multiple times. Now THAT makes no sense to me.

alma makes sense since she is the only one who can auth your hunts. gamma well she is there cause reasons, i get her being in base camp but not involved in the field as much as she is.
