Layer on bow

Hi guys. I was playing over -5h snd haven’t seen this anywhere …

Can someone navigate me how to put layer on bow or arrow and how i can craft layers, in tent ?

Layered weapons arn't in the game currently.

You can't put Layers on weapons.

If you want to do it on armor and have unlocked the ability to do so it is at any tent, far right option. Then click on the option to change your gears look.

Now any armor you crafted that is High Rank will be in a list there that you can use to replace the image of the current armor.

but again, you can not change how a weapon looks without mods on a PC.

I mean … i think i use incorrect word.

The think that i have in mind is just for bows, like to give arrows special effects. I am looking where i can add it

Like fire, poison etc?
Hold L1(Ps controller) chose the typ you want and press triangle.
Hold LB(Xbox controller) chose, press Y.
Can someone add the controlls for KB and M?

Not every bow can use all etc

you mean coating.
you have a gouge thet fill up eith that you can coat your arrows. to use this you have to get up your itemmenü and instead of go left right its up down. the same is for changing your bait while fisching. to get the the coat on the arrow you have to press y on controller
you cant do it while aiming.

There are mods to change the appearance of weapons. No vanilla functionality.

Hey, I have checked this and it is possible, but I have everywhere 0... Where, how I can create them to add to bow later on?

You have to craft a bow that comes with coatings or equip a decoration that that does it instead.

Edit. What Bow are you using?

I am using "Hunter Bow III"

u can also equip decorations that unlock coatings like blast, exhaust and sleep, even if the bow doesn't come with it.

That one is the third Bone bow and should be able to use Melee and Stune coatings. With one smal decoration slot.

I just made one and it works fine...

Just do as I already wrote.

1. Equip the bow

2. Leave the base camp(if you are still there)

3. take the bow and hold it. Like when you want to shoot it.(Combat mode :P)

4. With a Controller hold L1/LB it opens the item menu.

4.2 Press Y/Triangle or A/X to vhange the selected coating(What you called Layer)

4.3 After selecting the coating you want let go of the L1/LB.

5. Press Y/Triangle on your Controller to apply the coating. It will last for 10 attacks

The coating uses the blue bar as fuel/ammo. It fills up by hitting Monsters with arrows
