HR 61 and can't craft G. Arkveld weapons.

I can't craft a few lines of weapons, although I should be able to. If you look at the G. Arkveld weapon tree for hammers, I thought maybe I couldn't craft it because I hadn't crafted the Chatabara tree. I can't craft those either. No idea what's going on. A bug?

Any help would be appreciated.

If it has a lock you have to craft whatever is connected previously to it to make it.

As far as the arkveld weapons I think I was only able to see the purple one from low rank guardian arkveld, but then I killed a tempered arkveld in high rank and it unlocked the tier 8 g. arkveld weapons and the regular arkveld weapons below those (better version imo).

I can't remember the HR i was but 60ish sounds about right so I don't think is a rank issue.

I have a lock on an item that is the starting item for the tree and I have all the he materials. I am above HR 70, crap is just locked.

Not trying to be redundant or condescending but do you see a line made of little dashes like this "_ _ _ _" connected to that lock.

Sometimes even if its the starting item of a tree you need to craft an item in the tree above it to unlock it. Kinda like i think u need to make rathian weapon to be able to make rathalos, and u need rathalos to be able to make goremagala, all seperate trees technically.

Maybe the Hunter Symbol III, I don't think I was getting those until i finished all assignment quests, or maybe is cause I started to fight tempered? Idk, the OP can confirm if he has the mat, its required for those weapons.

I have had weapons in the HBG tree that work this way. Even if it's not a branch of the previous type, crafting the tier before it unlocked the weapon below it.

Nah I have enough of all the materials. I've killed 3 or 4, 8 star tempered arkvelds. I'll mess with it.
