Guardian Arkveld vs Zoh Shia

anyone else feel like the "final" boss is way easier than the one they actually hyped up?

With G Arkveld I didnt feel safe in close combat at all, a lot of twirling, a lot of it's chain attacks, but with Shia, I just stood between it's front legs and back legs, and barely felt threatened.

It's also weird that it covers the whole Arena with Wylk and gives you Dragon Pods ad infinitum, so you can just snipe one, and hit it with like 10 explosions.

Hmm, well MH "final bosses" have always been more spectacle than challenge.

u can also get it to face a wall so that when he does his supernova it literally just covers a tiny area and gives you huge opening to just hammer away from behind.

why make the fight difficult when we can slap some fatalis/white fatalis attacks on the second phase and pretend that makes it good because reference?

These are story mode challenges that are designed to be beaten by people with a pulse.

I assume, equivalent to Arch-tempered elder dragons are coming.

Nergigante is more difficult than Xeno Jiiva.
Magnamalo is more difficult than Allmother Narwa.
Malzeno is more difficult than Gaismagorm.
G Arkveld is, of course, more difficult than Zoh Shia.

imo, the only exception is standard Velhkana and Shara Ishvalda.

The question is how many were created and will it mutate.

i imagine any zoh shia refight is going to be noncanon considering it's implied there was only ever one. they could do a "actually there was secretly a second one oops!" thing but i feel like non-canon event quest is the way they'd go.

i mean it could've just regenerated, it and the Dragontorch are one in the same as with all guardians.
