[SUGGESTION] Add target icon to the monster list.
The idea it's plain simple, you add the items you want to the wishlist and then, when looking for monsters with flare, it shows you an icon saying "Hey, this one has items you need". Also, this is more a comodity, can be added the + and - icons, referencing that you need either normal, plus or both.

Would be a good QoL addition, plus it's not something that breaks the game as it is, since it's more a target guide than anything else.

Sounds like another excuse to have the game play itself and mindlessly just do what it says.

You know what we need done with target icons? Their complete removal. No more icons in view, no more icons on the map. No more icons anywhere. If you look out your window, do you see icons? I'd say not. That crap is a crutch that destroys the game's immersion.

I'm still trying to find the perfect combination of mods that lets me remove the entire HUD. All of it. Every last shred.

Mate, do you read the posts or you simply vomit hate for fun?

I'm not asking the game to play itself, I asked for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ checklist. Seriously you find so horrible to be able to track what you need to kill in order to craft a piece without having to go to the blacksmith every 5 minutes? xDD
ehm dont know if i understand what you mean but there is a wishlist at the smith so you can add items that you want to craft

yeah, the idea would be that, once you add them to the wishlist, the mentioned icons appear on the list when using the flare searcher, on the left the needle indicating that you need said monster and on the right a + or - indicating the tier needed for said monster in order to get the materials needed.

That IS asking the game to play itself.
You want a part from a monster then go out there and find the monster and keep hunting the monster until you get the part you need. RNG will be a factor. Deal with it and move on. That is the meat of the game. It is the meat of the series. Hunt the monsters until you get what you need from them.

Mate, I will stop answering you because you're essentially refusing to understand a ♥♥♥♥. You still need to kill the monster and you still need to drop the item, i'm not asking them to give me the item for free, i'm asking that they add an icon to a list to know what monsters to target in order to obtain the items I need instead of just killing blindly and hope the flute sounds.

So you want a function that filters in case you need low rank parts?

More than a filter, a checklist that tells you on the list what do you need to hunt and if it's low rank or high rank, for example, if I need an item that it's exclusive to low rank Anjanath, the needle would appear on the anjanath when selecting the target to search and a - next to the name, referencing that what I need drops from the low rank version. Basically would be a way a agilize everything a bit more, more considering that this game it's an abomination when it comes to menus xDD

That's how it works tho. You don't get a pin on a HR Anja when you need LR parts.

Such a feature makes no sense not even when you're putting EVERY weapon line on the list.

The pin would mean "This monster is the target" as a target, simple and plain, and + and - would refer to what version of the monster you need.

And it's not adding the pin to Anja as it is, but to the list when you are selecting the target on the flare menu.

You're overcomplicating an already simple system for the sake of it.

Seriously you find complicated 3 icons that tell you "You need materials from this monster" and the rank or it?
There is a marker when you search quests if they have parts you wishlisted. Not sure if that helps you.

Yeah, but the idea would be being able to say from the beginning "Ok I need this monster" and target that one specifically from the monster list they give us.

Fun fact, when a monster pops on in the environment you'll get a notification on the right side of the screen. Also on the Monster icon you will get a PIN icon showing you it is a monster you need parts from. Also this PIN will show up while looking at your quests at the Handler.
