Tutorial is infuriating
don't know who design to make all the tutorials pop up during the most busy or inconvenient but he succeeded. All those combo hints or new function utility tutorial, teach you how to use thorns and stuff they all pop up when you are busy swinging or keybinds of 2nd hit only shows when you swing the first hit give the player luxurious 0.5 sec to read before fading away. Now I finished the fight and wondering if I missed some important tutorial because I totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ missed it and have absolutely no idea where to find it or even know if I find what I missed.

A simple combo input chart is not 2025 innovation or at least make it last longer and not in the most intense moment so player can actually read it.

They have one in help page for combo and stuff but everything in it are either incomplete or very basic. Amazing, speechless.

Well the funny thing is, some of the combo sheets don't tell you all the moves.
there is a place for you in game.... it called training area. even i use it after thousands of hours in monster hunter to see if there is something new or how the new combos work....
We have a majestic thing called the internet now. Back in the day you had to go out and buy Nintendo Power and other such gaming magazines. Be glad we got QoL fixes over the generations.

I know. I also use it. but it only highlights how inefficient and awkward to show player keybind one step at a time. you have to look at your character, time input then you have to read the guide which only last less than a sec and then it is gone and you need to do the animation again before you can read it. A lot of work on the devs side for something that can be achieved by simpler and less labor intensive way with better result, a simple combo sheet like those in Space marine 2.

i do agree what you say but thats just how MH is and always was. tbh its great to have a game who doesnt spit in your face all the stuff and holds you at hand...

But yeah you are right but i think thats a good thing neither of us are wrong to think that way :) i am more the learn by doing guy

Almost just the second thing in the game you get introduced to a training area for good reasons

it is still bad, even in training area. The steps comes and goes wau to fast. some hidden move are at the end of combo and player need to keep track of their hits and the new step and input and also want to see their character do their move.

with a combo input chart, player can learn the input first then do it and observe or feel the move.

funny game do have combo chart but not making it comprehensive.
