RX 9070 XT, THEY TAKE A LONG TIME TO LOAD THE TEXTURES
I've swapped my RTX 4070 for a 9070 XT and it runs great in all games, but in MH Wilds it's horrible. It's not a matter of FPS, it's a matter of getting to where the monsters are and seeing them as if they were polygons. I've reinstalled the game, validated the files, and nothing...

Well, you probably did this but just in case.

1. In Windows Safe Mode, run DDU and remove all the drives from all vendors.
2. In normal mode Install fresh AMD (trash) drivers.
3. Delete shader2.cache file in the game installation folder.
4. Let game recompile shaders.

See if that helps.

I did exactly that, and it seems to load the better textures now. It's also true that AMD's current support for the 9070 is rubbish. Thanks.

Well that's good enough for now.

As additional tip, install ReFramework mod for Wilds, and update DirectStorage dll the game uses to latest version (that can also be downloaded from Nexus).

These offer additional performance fixes CAPCOM did not bother to spend 5 minutes to apply.
