Looks don't really matter, or are at least a low priority to most gamers. A game blowing up on Steam right now is REPO. Simplistic looking indie game. I'm bringing it up to highlight that most gamers can look past graphics.

It's the optimisation being the biggest issue effecting the review scores for Wilds. Followed by gameplay second (some people don't like it that monsters die in 3 minutes, 2 of those minutes they spend stunlocked for the fight). Graphics is like maybe 3rd on the ranking for why the reviews are 60%.
