I'm thinking of using it when I create a new character. I like starting from scratch when I use a new weapon so I have a little bit of a cushion against weaker monsters to learn the weapon. Still not sure on using it, though.
Along with the satisfaction of landing that perfect TCS.
This game series has never required 'skill' dude. Weird take.
Sounds like a personal problem. I'm having as much or more fun now than I have in any of the previous entries the past 20 years.
Makes sense. If you didn't have the skill to properly land strikes in previous games then you will like this new easy mode Greatsword.
Three factors here, position, direction, and timing. If your ability to control all three factors were negated, it would be pure luck. The more factors you can control the more skill based the system is.
It used to be luck. Predicting where the monsters parts are going to be is impossible. They decide what they are going to do based on a weighted random seed. You were just gambling and pretending it was skill when it hit.
Now you have control over what direction it fires, but you still can't change position once you start the combo. So there is still a little bit of luck involved, but skill is more relevant.
It's like people who go to a casino and come home richer than when they left attributing their winnings to their own skill. No.

I'm sorry your transition isn't making your lives better. No need to take it out on people who actually enjoy life.
all of that is gone now. I assure you, if those 2 will ever come to wilds then GS will have a really easy time dealing with them.
Transition?
True. It's definitely going to be a huge change in playstyle since I'll be moving like a snail, lol. But surely there's moves that help you tank or counter the monster's attacks. I'll find out by watching a video on it. And this change might feel pretty refreshing by forcing me into a new way to fight.
