By playing the end game, farming parts and decorations on dual hunt quests.
there's not really much of a point to getting any higher than hr100 right now, and even then i'm not even sure if there IS a point to reaching hr100 (i've heard that you get some better decos to meld but when i reached hr100 i wasn't notified of this and hadn't checked the melding decorations tab enough to notice any differences).

i guess if you want to grind it though tempered arkveld seems to give the most progress.

You're correct.

The whole point is that you can make different builds. So naturally your HR will rise so HR dont matter, just like in any other MH game where you went past points unless they locked your HR and then even then, you stacked exp for hte one time you might actually do the quest that locked your HR :P

I got instantly to rank 106, after completing the story - before that I finished all the side quests, event quests, some multiplayer and so on.

Personally I'm doing as others have suggested, crafting all weapons and gear/ buying out weapons from the shipment. Like the OP I'm at 70+ and have completed all quests at least once. Once I've gotten my collection done I'll try other styles of combat (currently DB main, formerly switch axe and hammer).

turn brain off, and beat a monster (any monster of your choosing) countless of times.
bask in their blood or flesh (if you captured) and repeat the same mindless process all over again.

for what reason? turn them into armor spheres or oricalcite
or sell them. Yup, literally it.

I probably spent more time afking in this game than actually playing.
