black screen but still hear conversation audio

I encountered a problem where, after loading my saved game, the screen goes completely black, but I can still hear conversation audio (cutscene). After that, the game becomes unplayable, and the only thing that appears when pressing the Start + Select buttons is the Windows voice chat.

I have followed all the provided instructions, including deleting the shader files, but the issue persists.

I created a new character, and the game runs smoothly, but when I use my old character, the problem remains. This issue started occurring after I received the latest update.

Swear that you delete the game's and the GPU's shader cache - those are at least two different folders

I swear! I've deleted both of them, and I've even installed the latest drivers. Please fix this—I’ve already played for 30 hours! Do I really have to start over from the beginning?

I didn't buy this game just to run into problems like this.

From what I can tell, in my case, it seems to be a bug with the game save itself, I was able to hear conversations but unable to view anything or even the menu.

Luckily windows had a previous save of the folder where the game saves reside in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(YourUserID)\2246340\remote\win64_save" (you can find out by right-clicking the folder > Properties > Previous Versions). I was able to recover and replace the previous saves from the day before without having to create a whole new character.

Not sure if my issue is the same as your's but worth a shot.
