Base game is never really difficult. Rise was easy, World was easy, the 3DS ones were easy. If you're a person who spent some time grinding and getting good at killing Fatalis in World, you can't really expect any base game monster to give you a significant challenge. There's people who have gotten used to destroying Fatalis in under 10 minutes, getting upset that they are quickly killing base game monsters in Wilds. Like why would you expect to be fainting a lot, why would you expect to have some kind of insane difficulty curve?
Doesn't feel any easier than the beta to me, honestly.
It feels easier to me than Worlds did, especially if you utilize all the new mechanics you're given, but I think you'll find some challenge here if you felt the beta was tough.
...you won't
I really hope that the difficult will go up in future updates.
So you've never played MH before? you could always brute force your way through every fight...literally the best way to deal with Jhen Mohran
Because watching countless streamers play a game, you can easily gauge the difficulty.
I also put in 20+ hours in the two betas. It's obvious to see the difficulty difference between Beta and release game. They toned down everything.
Like there doesn't seem to be any Boss that's as hard as Beta Arkveld in the released game.
That's precisely what I'm saying.
Everyone just seems to spam the same combos over and over again without any strategy, because you don't need strategy in such a difficulty level. They made it too casual and easy to cheese.
You're avoiding the argument intentionally when you know exactly what i'm talking about if you existed and played in the PS1/PS2 era and onwards. I'm not going to list a billion games for you. It's obvious that difficulty has casualised with the latest generation of games. They make games more impressive graphically but easier on difficulty and gameplay.
The argument "you could always do that" isn't one.
Literally every professional and casual reviewer agrees that this game is too easy ,and this is a trend in the industry.
Games are made for low IQ casuals these days. There's literally a handful of challenging games anymore like souls games and Ninja Gaiden.
