Long and Wide - IDK just do the same I guess xd
so far for me it seems like normal is like usual, long you might want to spam multi wyrmstake blast, and wide you want to charge every time, since positioning with shelling is no longer an issue
This seems to be the best way to get off as much shelling as possible. Type don't seem to matter with the new combo, since it empties the entire clip (twice), the go to strategy is to get the biggest clip you can and all the skills that buff shelling damage, clip size, and reload speed.
Wide seems a bit odd out as it is both now the Long and Wide from World. It wants to Blast a lot, and charging builds gauge to charge. But at the same time, charging feels kinda bad even with max focus (charge reduction). Undeniably hits the hardest though if you have extra shells and a STRONG shell lance (110 per shell).
But in the end, depending on what you're fighting will determine if you can even get your combos off. I'd say Wide has the most flexible play style, and it definitely seems to have the most lances in basegame so far.
now THIS is a gamer.
yeah, this is the conclusion i came to as well for wide
Normal is whatever, but still full blast is best, and the new sweeping barrages are good too. You don't charge your shots with normal. It's fun.
Wide is charging your shots and wyvernblasting. Charging your shots gets your wyvernblast back quick. Also fun, but not my preferred.
Also; I see nobody mentioning. You get a shorter Wyvernblast windup per stake you put out. Up to four stakes. So the more you stake an enemy, the faster your blast. So its more about staking as many times in a row as you can before you blast now.
long has a power boost on wyvernstake. so...
