Where to catch Gravid Bowfin?
I've been all over the Forest map, but I cant seem to catch 1. Can anyone share me a good spot to catch one for quest? Thanks

I got it first try.
1- Plenty Weather Morning
2- Use Emerald jitterbait
3- slow reel to attract it. (To slow reel on ps5 controller, use turn your left joystick in a “circle” like motion.

Please upvote so people will see sooner. In pc just go W-A-S-D. I catch in icy cliffss area 1

Just behind the girl. Its a rare fish so you have to change map to find him. And even then its a bit lucky cuz he isnt really interested in the emerald bait. Done him with the default bait in three hours.

i done in underground water area in forest. it doesnt like bait jiggling much.

I caught one by accident up at the very top of Forest where you fight Uth Duna for the first time, the fish there were in a big bait circle making it really obvious there were fish there.

Obviously that was during the rainy season (whatever that is called)

There is a easy trick to catch it once you actually find the right fish. Pull in the bait slowly in a steady speed. Worked well for me. There are multible spots on the map for it.

I been in this spot for like an hour, but seems I cant catch any.. :(

Is there like a special weather or time in the map that they appear? Like, a morning or evening? I cant seem to find one.

Good lord.. I guess I better skipped this mission for a while.. was trying to finish the quest so I could fish a Gastronome tuna using the new bait..

Weather or season does not matter. But atleast its stated that they bite more in the morning and the evening.

Screw the fishing pole. I can't catch a fish to save stone cold steve austin from getting fired for the 50th ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. I just use my net gun.

honestly i just went to the forest are 12, i believe they can spawn behind the waterfall or at the front of it. then i just used the emerald bait. it might take a few min before it becomes interested but it will eventually. it just takes a bit of patience
