Wich graphic card is good to play at HIGH/60FPS
Hi, anyone that knows already which graphic card is good to play on graphics High/60FPS (i dont care if you have to use DLSS or FSR, i would accept minimum using it on Balanced or quality mode) WITHOUT frame gen??

I've been looking on benchmarks on youtube and the RX 7600 looks to be able to handle the game in high or even ultra on 40 to 60 fps without frame gen, in the other hand the RTX 4060 doesnt even reach 60 fps on high, so

Wich one i should get? i am looking to make an upgrade without wasting more than 400$ USD

I see a lot of people are completely missing the point of the question in this thread and telling you to throw down large chunks of money you likely do not have to blow on a GFX card.

Since you were looking at the RX 7600, I would say spend the tiny bit more that is asked for an RX 7600 XT, you will deeply appreciate the 16 gigs of RAM that it comes with.

Contrary to what a lot of the redditors say in here, AMD's software can help you easily fine tune your GFX card for additional performance and power efficiency at a very granular level. Speaking personally, I have been using AMD's cards for a good few years and I have yet to find a single problem with them or their drivers.

Far too many people get duped into thinking Nvidia's junk is far better because they slap a colossal price tag on it.

Full 60 in high/ultra before framegen you'll need a 4070Ti Super or above. The 4070 Super is also able to output close to 60 with DLSS, but you'll get constant drops into the low 40 here and there. However none of them is close to $400 right now. Maybe try the 7700XT if you can find it at a good price, it's a tiny bit faster than the 4070 Super in render without RTX.

Thank you!

i wouldn't build a PC around a single game but always best bang for buck and performance longevity. minimum 4070 Ti Super, best to wait for 5000 series stock to actually hit shelves, or an AMD 9070 XT. otherwise you should just buy a PS5 Pro.

The problem with the 7000 series from AMD is that all AAA games are moving to RTGI for lighting with no baked options. you'd be buying something just to not be able to use it.

That makes a lot more sense then. I would look for performance benchmarks for the 7600 XT and this game then. Don't buy off anyone's word alone.

i'm holding a stable 60 FPS in High and a little bit of medium parameters (settings it on High, and then lowered some parameters for more stability) with a 3070 Ti Ventus OC x3 8Go. no frame gen since 30XX can't, DLSS activated on performance, Ray tracing on low.
if it helps you

PS : i'm running this on a 2K ultrawide (21/9) screen tho

why dont want use frame gen?
i can understand if is a shooter fps, but gamepad game who care the input delay
if you have good cpu, you can buy good nvidia card
and with dlss4 you get more fps, and dlss 4 performance mode, look better as dlss3 quality mnode so....
DYMAXION Mar 4 @ 11:42am
Running it at 1440p DLSS4 Quality with a 4070, with the fps capped to 60 in the driver. Seems mostly fine.

Because fake frames HURT other people who don't have access to them. the fact it's MANDATORY TO GET 30 at MEDIUM SETTINGS is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. it should NEVER be manditory, and you know that. also, why use a wireless controller when your pc is RIGHT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THERE, it's not like it's on the other side of the room with the tv (unless you're one of those living room pc users, you have my apologies)

I would suggest waiting a couple more days or weeks.
Tomorrow drops the embargo for the new AMD GPUs and for all I heard they could bring a little movement in the GPU market pricing - unless its just another paperlaunch ... (unlikely since the hardware youtubers have their amd test-gpus allegedly for months now).

I can notice the input lag and some of the artifacts, if those were like 99% un-noticeable i would play with FG without care, but i can notice those and kind of bothers me, thats why, but since rn i have no choice until i upgrade, yeah, i am using FG
Laptop 4090 is an equivalent of 4070 Ti / Super / etc. and it output ultra 55-65fps for me, without frame generation :lunar2019piginablanket: (so I play with frame-gen)

If you don't want to use frame generation, the bare minimum to get decent fps is a rtx 4080.

With frame generation, a rtx 4070 is enough. Anything below that will require a notable adjustment of graphic settings.

With 400 bucks, you won't be able to get a GPU that gets you a decent performance playing this game unless you set the graphics on medium-low. And definitely you will need a GPU compatible with frame generation. Without frame generation, you will be playing at 30-40 fps tops.
