How short is this game?

I just got done with the Abjarakan or however you spell it, and will finish later. This feels like Endgame. I dont remember Worlds being this short

Low Rank took me 14 hours, but High Rank is after that with a little more story content and more free reign to do your own thing

This game is as long as you want it to be. The "Main Quest" is not the main draw, and has always been the "tutorial" or means to unlock the game.

Depends on how you play the game. If you just rush the story it’s maybe 10 hours. If you play the game how it should you won’t reach the ending before 40 hours.

Well I skipped all the cutscenes. The story is just bad but I spent a decent amount of time hunting other monsters to get decent gear and I reached the Abjarakan in only 8 hours. Am I rushing it?

70 hours for HR 100 with rarity 8 sets for gunlance, longsword, hammer, bow, hvy bowgun and dual blades. Was gonna chase the last achievements but compared to farming artian pieces/deco's - gold crown large monsters are the rarest thing in the game lol

I took 25 hours to do low rank, which is taking my time and doing side quests. Im in around 45 hours now and havent finished everything in HR. Theres plenty lol

Well theres your damn problem lol. Enjoy the story for what it is. Yes, you are rushing it it. But there's plenty to do. You're not even halfway done with lr.

killed tempered arkveld in 19.5 hours if u wanna get the last weapon/full armor (arkveld armor and gore armor with gore weapon) i'd say 25 hours

You're thinking about this wrong. You SHOULD be rushing it so that you can get to the actual good parts, ie high rank gear and tempered investigations.

Yeah,point of MH is basically becoming the biggest hoarder possible. Get every piece of armor that looks cool, get every charm, etc. Start capping monsters because it's Pokemon now, try new weapon, collect all the endemic life and fish, etc. Just become a general menace to the ecosystem to the point the handler sends a hitsquad after you.
