Average age?
I've seen a few streams now and my impression this games main target is children between 10 and 15.
No blood or gore, talking squirrels with mushroom hats , power ranger outfits ect ect.
Your thoughts?

you exaggerate a bit, there re still lotta games released with gore. contrary, for ex, niche zombie fetish games became a large genre.

and honestly i doubt we cared about 18+ stuff back at that age and i doubt again current youngsters bothered with it. especially when we think last generation born into technology.

there re videos of 2-3 years old babies writing full alphabet without a mistake on an ipad , on their own.

I highly doubt this is the case.
....D-do we tell them that the armour has always looked goofy, the talking cats have been important to the lore, or that it's over 25 years old at this point?

Also, sure some of the other games have had fountains of high pressure blood on hit, but the Western releases usually tame it down. 4 was when we had the red stuff even visible, aside from tail cuts.

Honey, have you SEEN the inventory screens? No ten year old is looking at that the smithy and getting a nose bleed at all the numbers and words present. d=P

But hey, I've seen people getting upset there were visible buttholes on some models, so you do you fam.

most people who grew up with monster hunter are in their 30s now. so it makes sense.

Well first of all are you enjoying the game or not? If yes, Gratz, go have fun. If not, sorry for your loss. The speculation of what age groups might be playing the game is irrelevant to this fact. Stay thirsty my friends.

That's Japanese culture for you? They can produce mature stories but the mainstream consumption is kind of childish compared to places like Europe or mainland Asia.
I'd say, that it comes from them appearing as more optimistic than other places. But that's my perception. I could be dead wrong.

Doesn't mean most of them still play games.
Personally it's very hard to believe any adult can enjoy the story, constant childlike voices yelling the most obvious stuff, the trumpet music ect ect......
I dunno but to me it really looks and sounds a game for children.

Well hopefully you didn’t buy it then. If you did hopefully you can get a refund. If it’s too late to get a refund, well nothing you can do about it now. Problem solved either way, good luck out there.

that just means youre not into cutesy stuff, but that has nothing to do with age
I'll never understand why people go to forums of games they have no interest in and would never play just to troll on them.
True and real, even tho id go to ages 5-10 just to be sure with the generic story and the fortnite artstyle
