Monster Hunter Wilds

MH:Wilds Sales.
Capcom just posted that MH:Wilds sold 8 Million Units. In 3 Days.
This is insane amount of money and success, and It wouldn't be possible without World bringing so many new people in.
Monster Hunter is no longer Niche series and never will be.

Now fix performance please, you have the money.

No amount of money thrown at the game will make the fixes come any sooner. Also we’ve had multiple patches since the game launched. We’ll probably have even more in the following days and weeks. In the meantime there’s always Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

It works the other way around. Why would they work when they already have your money...

I wish I could send Nata to Hello Kitty's island and throw him in the ocean =))

To make sure they can sell us DLC. They're Greedy. 8m even as massive success is nothing for shareholders and executives greed.

They won't xd. Look at dd2. Still a piece of crap after all this time.

Let's pretend that the sole reason we even got a full world wide release for this, Rise, and World alone was because 4 and 4U was one of Capcom's fastest selling releases of all time. I mean, I was the sole person who even preordered 4U in my (admittedly small) city of Hereford.

But nah, we just needed an excuse to put out another thread about performance issues.

They're working on it. Check the sticky, and keep an eye out for patches. We had a tiny one today that I don't think had the notes posted yet, but that could be me missing it.

Give them a month or so. These things are a pain in the ass for any company regardless of how big an ass it's publishing team has.

I don't think anyone left working for DD2, there is a difference. Capcom probably gave every single employee to mh wilds development because that's what they were counting on. And they were right, I believe those employees will be working on mh wilds from now on. DD 2 is long forgotten.

So one of their worst performing titles sells like hot cakes. Great really! Can't wait for the next expansion to be riddled even more with DLCs and a worse performance, cause clearly they can get away with it and gamers are too dumb to stand back and contemplate wether or not they should support this industry trend.

Why bother optimizing anything if they still end up getting rich.

BEEP! Mar 4 @ 7:25am
It stopped being a niche when World came out.

The company's job is to enrich their investors, not to invest in the company and improve their games. Most of that money is going to the board, the execs, with maybe some change to go into the employees' yearly bonus.
