Game causing eye strain issues for anyone else?
Is anyone else dealing with this? I’ve played other games and haven’t had this issue before so it’s just weird lol

Just my eye turning really red in like a straight line on both of my eyes and hurting, slightly blurred vision so I’m taking a break from it, one of my friends had the same issue so idk if it was just a coincidence or something.

having the exact same issue. bloodshot lines across both my eyes. are you playing on a wide screen at all? ive been thinking it could have something to do with high amount of eye movement to keep track of everything on screen.

I know what ya mean, after 5 days I think every blood vessel in both eyes has burst, now that Im Hr100 I’m gonna take a few days off lol
Some well deserved time off, nice lol

must be all the post processing effects layered ontop of each other lol. gotto love modern games. but yeah using 1080p and then slapping DLSS ontop of that certainly isnt helping much either (unless u mod in DLSS4 maybe)

In what sense? The UI? You can use couch screen mode, basically makes the UI bigger, i forgot the exact setting tho, it pops up when u first start the game

No I have it set to “larger” and playing on my PC Monitor, but weirdly having an eye strain issues from it which I haven’t had issues with other games causing it. DLSS can cause the edges of stuff to be very "fluffy" do you have that?

I mean, I've been playing this game almost non-stop since release and my eyes are hurting but I think that is more to do with the amount of time I'm spending playing this rather than anything about the graphics.
yeah, watching them pixels flash for days is not healthy xD

Nope I have that turned off
its the constant microstuttering
I installed ReShade and activated Lumasharpen and CAS/FidelityFX Sharpening - both set to 50% - otherwise the game is just a visual mess.
The earlier areas suffer from a sepia tone that gave me eye strain as well.

Also the frame rate coming up with patches would help w that as well. I hope
I had eye strain while playing FF7Rebirth. If you have itching eyes I would recommend to see an ophthalmologist first to exclude eye infections before using eye drops against dry eyes.
i always turn off vignette,DoF,chromatic and motion blur regardless of game. but some games have built in camera radial blur kinda thing, for lack of better word. idk its technical name.

anyway i supressing it with reducing my mouse dpi, normally i use inbetween 5000 to 15000 but reducing 1000 to 1500 masked it.

other than that blurry texture aint that much in high and ultra settings in 1440p, bearable.

Yeah, me too. I got a few days off to play, and every time I finish my sessions, my eyes are extremely tired and reddish. Yesterday, I also had a pretty bad migraine. It has to be related to frame generation and the DLSS/FSR blurriness.
Take breaks from the PC. Stop playing as much. Blink more. Get better lighting.

Sure. The game could be at fault. But since there are 8 million copies sold and 8+ million people are NOT complaining about eye strain. I would say it's the minority playing too much in poor lighting and not blinking often enough causing their own issues.
