Devs have been working 'round the clock to make sure all NPCs, and also rocks are trying to solve calculus equations in their minds, non-stop. This is to add realism, and won't be noticeable to the player at all, since it's just in their heads. This will also use up 90% of your CPU. Please enjoy this amazing next gen feature that tanks performance and adds nothing to your gameplay.

No. It did not get worse.

Delete your Shader Cache and try again.

"Guys, we only got 70% of our playerbase annoyed at us. I think we can do better!"

also verify those game files. it cant be said enough how important it is to do this to fix file corruption after a patch. even back when elden ring released people got weird ♥♥♥♥ happening like falling trough the floor until they verified and fixed their files
Nope, still loving the game on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mid-range laptop.

Lifes good

Fair enough. I sum it up as game update routine. Pretty basics everyone should do with every game.
mine got much better. no crashes, played for about 3 hours. Frames fairly consistent, everything set to max. Also using a sharpening reshade.

I'm legit scared to even launch my game.

yes, sadly the vast majority doesnt seem to understand still :P
especially in big games, half the time when theres an update, the patching system screws up in some way

Almost same config, and WAY worse than yesterday for me too, even after deleting shaders cache and verifying files integrity. Ridiculous

In AMD there's a dedicated option in the driver tool in Graphics.
have been playing for 7 hours without crashes or anything, dont know when the update came though.
