Why there is no ability to change weapon skin?
Some weapons are ugly - hard to look at them...

Why? Simple.. they don't care. They also don't care that you care.. Thats why your character Glows like a damn christmas tree the second you have a buff active.. regardless if you just spend four hours on character and armor design.

Weapon transmogs don't tend to unlock till quite a lot later, I think it wasn't until Sunbreak that we got them in Rise

Hello, tourists. It is a feature usually added in future expansions. We didn't even have the ability to transmog in previous titles until Iceborne, then later in Sunbreak. It's safe to say it is coming, though not anytime soon. If you can't wait to play dress-up, then maybe you've hit your wall with the game for now.
