Yeah this is a modern gaming Bs. Every game today has these stupid companions. Would be great if you can choose to bring them with you or not. And it would be awesome if compenions can die in a monster fight and then there gone fot the rest of the game.

yeah her and gemma keep hanging around....why one is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ blacksmith that shouldnt even be here, and the other is a glorified handler whos only job should be to write in her book so we can go hunt, the amount of cutscenes that involve running away from the monster first only to finally turn around and fight is insane. we are hunters lets us fricken hunt

Ill be frank, this is my rant.
She is single handily the most annoying character they have made.
She constantly reminds me of meaningless things.
For God's sake. Shes just there breathing down my neck about herbs or whatever.
Monsters, landscaping, weather, materials.. I dont care.. Just leave me alone!
This really breaks the immersion of the game for me every time she speaks up when I'm just strolling down the forest, she just HAS tell me about the new monster that appeared.
I played monster hunter 4. Things were so good back then. This game has gotten too modernized its has me wrinkle my nose at every cutscene its just that bad.
I hate the characters, the story is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the optimization is terrible, but the combat is good and so are the monsters designs. The worst of it is Alma following in my shadow at all times telling me how she "gives me permission" like shes my boss. Yeah..
At one point I was adventuring and she informed me that I couldnt fight mosnter I came across becasue my hunter rank was too low I'm assuming, and yet I ending up just killing it anyway.. Lady, What is your actual purpose in the guild If I can just kill without permission? Shes basically a third wheel when I'd much rather just be with my palico.

she's not too bad really. i'm noticing monhun fans tend to get annoyed by npcs... just, talking? it's really odd. i didn't mind her reminders so much as the constant ui pop-ups for things that i was already told how to do (despite the fact that i selected the options at the beginning of the game for it to specifically not do that), i find the whole "you have permission to hunt this monster" spiel more invigorating than annoying, it especially hits hard during the guardian arkveld cutscene. her dynamic with the hunter is fun, i think i'd miss her if she wasn't hanging around, it'd feel a bit lonelier.

Hated world handler, I enjoy Alma, but she is around too much. Like why is she there DURING the hunts?
